The distributed NetFlow collection nature of this technology allows security teams to gain threat insight into remote areas without actually visiting them. Most firewalls today including those from Barracuda, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks, SonicWALL and others provide NetFlow or IPFIX exports.
