Sanford, ME — Feb 03, 2010 — Plixer International, the best at NetFlow company, has just released version 2 of their NetFlow and sFlow testing and configuration utility called Flowalyzer.
The latest release of Flowalyzer NetFlow & sFlow Tester includes several performance and usability enhancements. In addition to these improvements, Flowalyzer now includes a new SNMP trending feature.
The Trender tab is used to create graphical trends for critical Windows resources, all done in real-time. A configurable update period that defaults to once every second can be reconfigured by the user. The Trender uses SNMP information gathered from compliant gear to measure metrics from interface utilization to CPU or memory consumption. There is no limit to the number of metrics users can trend simultaneously.
Custom OIDs can be used to generate graphical data on any SNMP variable, which makes the uses for this network monitoring tool nearly endless. The data gathered by Flowalyzer’s Trender can also be configured to export to a CSV file. In addition to these key features, The Trender also boasts support for SNMP version 1, version 2 and version 3 (required for many secure networks worldwide).
Pricing and availability
Flowalyzer is a completely free network monitoring and configuration tool set for IT administrators. Version 2 of Flowalyzer is available for download now.
