Piccard most recently served as Senior Director at McAfee, leading engineering and research teams supporting McAfee’s portfolio of antivirus, web security, network appliance, and cloud-based products. Previously, he was the Director of Threat Research for Webroot Software and held various management roles for IBM Internet Security Systems.
Piccard has a track record of successfully scaling R&D organizations through a focus on automation, which has resulted in multiple award-winning security products and solutions. Piccard will help drive innovation in Plixer’s network and security intelligence platform, Scrutinizer®. The platform excels at collecting metadata from large, multi-vendor networks and cloud deployments to detect, visualize, contextualize, report, and respond to network and security incidents.
