About three times a week, the Plixer Sales and Tech Support teams get together to play some basketball right outside the office after work.

One of our sales reps, Mitch, is quite good and will talk trash as much as a full work day will allow. He has already won 7 games and at the time, there was no end in sight. I’m sure he being 6’4″ had something to do with his winning streak…

Yesterday, we were playing a two-on-two game. On one team was myself and Dale from Sales. On the other was Mitch (boo!) and Jon, who is our Marketing Manager.

So the game begins with a quick basket by my teammate Dale.
Mitch, (aka: Trash Talker) responds with a basket of his own.

I drive for a couple of baskets, but they return with a few as well. Trash Talker must be off his game since we are coming close to the end and we are up by two.

So Mitch has the ball at the top of the key and I’m guarding him close. He goes to drive, but I wasn’t going to give him the lane without a fight. After cutting him off from the easy lay up, Mitch opted for the big shot.

Maybe he wasn’t expecting resistance from a person standing at 5’7″, I don’t know. Either way, I was right there with a big NetFlow STUUUFF!!!

He will say I hit his hand, but anyone could have heard that ball echo when I made him eat the ball.

I can’t wait for the next game.
