At plixer we take great pride in our software. That being said, sometimes bugs slip through. Below is a list of our known bugs:

Bug:
Evaluating Scrutinizer and within seconds after installation, hitting it with flows from dozens or even hundreds of devices causes initial slowness. This usually occurs after uninstalling a competitor's product to try Scrutinizer.

Reason:
Scrutinizer creates new files and tables for every interface it initially learns about. This can take a few minutes per interface and if SNMP does not make a connection, this can add another minute per device. One example of 275 routers immediately blasting Scrutinizer with no SNMP availability resulted in Scrutinizer taking over 2 hours to settle down.
