Database Monitoring Overview:
WebNM for database monitoring supports Linux, Windows and Unix. Staple monitoring of basic necessities include: database availability, response time, disk space, logs, etc. Windows services and processes can also be monitored. Easily assembled transactions empower WebNM to monitor almost any database. Once collected, all data is available for reporting via the console and the dashboards.

	Syslog, Event Log, SNMP Trap and email message collection
	Historical Trending on all of the above and many scheduled emailed reports
	Real-time graphical alarm consoles and integration with the dashboards

Database Transaction Latency
WebNM can monitor the transaction latency to query almost any database (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.). We work with the clients to understand what parts of the application can take excessively long to query and build monitors that target this issue. Thresholds can be set and notification sent for violations of the acceptable service level.

Database Volume Monitoring
WebNM can monitor for specific data or for specific volumes. The transactions are extremely flexible. Again, we work with the clients to understand what parts of the database have to be monitored and build monitors that target this issue. Thresholds can be set and notifications sent for violations of the acceptable service level.
