Logalot integrates with WhatsUp from Ipswitch Software Setup several WhatsUp servers to forward messages to Logalot's central console. By doing so, Logalot lends scalability to WhatsUp and supports a distributed architecture. Clicking the graph icon (as shown in the above screen capture) Logalot will trend how often outages are occuring in Chicago or Boston. If you click on the server name (e.g. whatsup.somix.com) in the Violations List column, Logalot will display the actual outage messages shown below. If you click on globe (as shown in the above screen capture), a web browser will open and connect to the WhatsUp server in New York City. As part of your support contract, Somix will help you imbed alerts right inside WhatsUp as shown below: It does more!
