|Notification Manager|
Logalot has a sophisticated escalating notification system. Depending on the severity of message and the volume, Logalot can be configured to notify a secondary contact should the primary not respond soon enough.
In the example below, one unsuccessful login attempt on the PBX (phone system) will cause an alert to go out to "Announcements" who is the primary support person.
"Announcements" will receive an email as well as a pager alert. Should he not respond within 10 minutes and acknowledge the alarm, his manager will be notified as well.
Logalot performs "Problem Escalation" by notifying a second person if the primary does not acknowledge the alarm in the specified time frame (e.g. 10 minutes).
Notifications can be sent in several formats:
| Net Send | |
| Logafile | |
| Syslog | |
| SNMP Trap | |
| Script | |
| Auto Acknowledge | |
| SOE Alert | |
| SMS Text Message (GSM) | |
| SMS Text Message (Non-GSM) | |
| Pager(Numeric) | |
| Pager(Text) via Air Messenger Pro listed below | |
| Open Trouble Ticket |
If paging with text information is important, we recommend the use of Air Messenger Pro from Internet Software Solutions
