Trend OverviewScrutinizer determines the total utilization on a link by compiling all NetFlow data received
pertaining to all interfaces. In Bound and Out Bound are both compiled. NOTE: Because
Scrutinizer does not use SNMP to poll in and out octets to gain knowledge of overall utilization
the following must be considered.
Total Utilization Pop Up Window
There are a several navigation options using the data displayed in this screen:
Click this icon to trend the data in percent utilization.
Scrutinizer must know speed of the interface to calculate this. Click on the
SNMP icon
to configure the interface speed manually.
Click this icon to trend the data in bits per second in
lieu of percent utilization.
Click this icon to launch a real time trend in a pop up window that tells
Scrutinizer to start SNMP polling the interface and relay the actual bits/sec to the popup window (e.g. see below):
IMPORTANT: for Real Time to work, a valid SNMP community string must be specified for the router under Manage Devices
