This utility is used to control what icons appear in each map. NOTE: Creating a Group is the foundation for all maps.

The Device Icon Properties can be modified using the options shown below:

to control whether a flow device that is a member of the group is displayed in the map.
means the device is sending version 5. The mouse over
ALT tag displays more details such as "NetFlow version 5"
means the Device is sending version 9. The mouse over
ALT tag displays more details such as "NetFlow version 9"
The unknown icon means that the flow Device was
manually entered under Manage Devices and that no flow
at this time has been received from the Device. The mouse over ALT tag displays
"Unknown Version".
Long. & Lat. GPS coordinates can be saved
for each flow Device. This will place the Device icon in the Google map. Clicking the
Device icon in the google map will pop up the 3 busiest interfaces and provide the option to
launch a 3rd party application for the Device.The Group Icon Properties can be modified using the options shown below:

Group Icon: This is the icon which represents a
Group in all maps.

to control whether an icon representing a Group is displayed in the map. Clicking on the
Group icon in a flash map or a google map will pop up the flash map for the Group.
Long. & Lat. GPS coordinates can be saved
for each group. This will place the group icon in the Google map. Clicking the group
icon in the google map will pop up the flash map for this group.This screen is used to add icons to a map that represent devices on the network.

to control whether an icon representing an Object is displayed in the map. Clicking on the
Object icon in a flash map or a google map can launch a pop up web browser for a specified
URL (see "Link" below).

for each Object icon. This will place the Object icon in the Google map. Clicking the Object
icon in the google map will pop up a browser for the desired URL.This screen is used to place shapes with text on the map.
