Riverbed NetFlow Support

Most WAN Optimization appliances support NetFlow. Although the majority of our customers have Cisco WAAS, a significant amount of our customers have the Riverbed Steelhead appliance for WAN compression. NOTE: This is not going to be a Cisco WAAS vs Riverbed Steelhead post. I’m sure both products have their merits and we’re not about to pick on WAAS issues or point out all the Steelhead problems. Rather, I want to highlight some things to look out for in regard to the Riverbed NetFlow exports.
