Posted in IT News, NetFlow, NetFlow Analyzer, Network Traffic Analysis, Network Traffic Monitor, Scrutinizer, sFlow on August 25th, 2009 by Jo-GScrutinizer v7 for NetFlow and sFlow analysis has been released. This new version of our network traffic analysis solution is 100% free. Plixer’s new model is to build a business around the modules:
- Central Interface for Distributed NetFlow collectors
- Flow Analytics for Network Behavior Analysis and archiving of data.
- Service Provider Module for setting up per login permissions to see only certain data.
On our web site you will find updated webcasts (coming soon) covering the new version as well as pricing. Most of the features were covered in our five-part blog series.
Since then we have added support in the free version for:
- IPv6
- NSEL (NetFlow Security Event Logs) for Cisco ASA firewalls
- Flexible NetFlow for all fields (e.g. VLAN IDs, MAC Addresses, etc.)
- Support for any language. Shipping with Chinese, English, French, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. Other languages can easily be added. A single server can support unique languages per login.
- Extensive billing support for service providers
There is no upgrade for existing v6.X customers until v7.1 is released in about 30 days. Download Scrutinizer v7 here.
