Plixer Announces QoS and Autonomous Systems Support in Scrutinizer 5.5 Scrutinizer NetFlow & sFlow Analyzer introduces support for Autonomous Systems and Quality of Service reporting. For more information: Sanford, Maine — Sept. 25, 2007 — Plixer International Inc. today announces the arrival of Scrutinizer NetFlow & sFlow Analyzer version 5.5. The latest version of Plixer's industry leading network traffic analyzer expands its feature set with Quality of Service (QoS) reporting and Autonomous Systems support. Adding support for Autonomous Systems allows network administrators to see how much traffic is traveling between registered collections of IP networks and routers that use the same routing policies. Grouping network devices in a variety of ways for performance and utilization monitoring purposes can be a challenge. Plixer has made data presentation a priority in version 5.5. The new QoS reports are based on Type of Service (ToS) and Differentiated Services (DiffServ) standards. Users can now verify that priority protocols are being routed appropriately; answering the question, "Who is using these priorities and with what applications?"
