The addition of sFlow support means that customers with routers and switches from companies such as Alcatel, Foundry, Extreme, Hewlett Packard, Juniper, Enterasys, Riverstone, Force10 and others can now get network traffic analysis details, beyond SNMP statistics. Details captured from sFlow include top conversations, top applications and top hosts per sFlow capable switch or routed interface.

Some of the new features found in Scrutinizer 4.0 are:
