Acquiring The Latest Version
A new customer can purchase the latest version by contacting Plixer directly by phone (207) 324-8805 or email us. An existing customer with active maintenance can download the latest version through the installed Scrutinizer software or from the plixer.com website. Once the download is complete,
execute the installer on the same system where Scrutinizer is currently installed. An existing customer without active maintenance can repurchase maintenance if the currently installed version of Scrutinizer is in the Live or Extended phase. For installed versions of Scrutinizer in the End of Life phase, a re-purchase of a license with maintenance is required. Product Life Cycle Definitions
Live: Plixer will provide technical support to customers with active maintenance for their product. Support includes software updates, and online/email/phone technical support. Plixer is actively supporting development efforts to address known issues and may provide patches to resolve product issues.
Extended : Plixer will provide technical support to customers with active maintenance for their product. Support includes software updates, and online/email/phone technical support. Plixer will not provide patches to address issues with this particular version of the product. Plixer reserves the right to require a customer to upgrade their product to the most current version to resolve a product issue.
End of Life : Plixer will provide technical support to customers with active maintenance for their product provided that the customer upgrades to a version supported under the "Extended" or "Live" support tiers.
